Why should I get involved?
Do you believe in spreading awareness to girl’s issues around the world? Do you want to advocate for legislation that empowers girls all over the world? Do believe in increasing opportunities for youth across our community? Do you believe in equality?? If any of these apply to you, you are meant to be a part of this organization! We love and welcome anyone who believes in making a positive change in our world!
I'm not a girl, can I still get involved?
YES, YES, YES! Gender based Issues affect EVERYONE no matter who you are. When we all work together to empower leaders of all kinds, we are the most powerful!
How can I support Girl Up LPS if I'm not part of LPS?
You can first and foremost support us by advocating and raising awareness to our cause. We encourage you to also spport us by attending our events! Please visit our "Get Involved" tab for more information on community involvement.
I have some issues with this program, how can I make sure my opinions are heard?

I want to get involved, but I'm afraid of receiving harsh judgement from those around me. What should I do?
Girl Empowerment and the issues that this organization focuses on is for everyone. We recommend that you look through our website to get more information on what it is that we do exactly. We hope that in doing so you will gain an understanding of why what we are doing is important and you will be able to express that to anyone who doesn’t believe in what you are doing. Being an advocate and ally is difficult, but we believe that having a diverse group of individuals standing together and for one another is vital to the success of our cause.
