We run girl empowerment programs that are fun, exciting, and effective! Our programs are open to girls in 3rd-5th grade and run throughout the year in sessions that last anywhere from 6 to 14 weeks. This last year we ran 15 programs at 11 elementary schools. We are proud to be adding many more programs this year and will be making our official "school announcements" in August. Our first elementary school program was piloted in Maxey Elementary School in the Spring of 2017 and saw massive success. Since then our programs have served 100+ elementary school girls in all areas of LPS and received positive feedback from attendees, parents, teachers, counselors, and principals.

Our programs are designed to ensure that attendees understand that they are strong and capable individuals. Along with learning how to combat girl-to-girl bullying and deal with gender-based discrimination, the girls in our program also learn about gender-issues in developing countries. The activities conducted specifically regarding global girls' issues have been created in partnership with the Girl Up Leadership Development Initiative. We guarantee that the girls that graduate from our programs understand that they possess the power to change our world - they know that they have a VOICE and that they can use it to make a difference!

Not only has the curriculum been carefully developed, but the leaders of our program are also experienced. Our program leaders are passionate and enthusiastic high school students who are background checked and trained to lead safely, responsibly, and effectively.
